Bring your ID! But if you forget it or don’t have it take heart; you can still cast a ballot simply by signing an affidavit.
Hold off wearing your campaign gear (t-shirts, buttons, hats etc) until after you’ve voted. It’s a misdemeanor in most places to display any election information within 100 feet of a polling place. If you’re wearing your candidates shirt, cover it up or turn it inside out till you’re done.
Expect Long Lines! So pack your patience and understand that if you are still in line when the polls close… you can still vote!
Ask for help from an election worker if you’re having trouble. They can’t tell you who to vote for, but if you mess up a ballot or need assistance… that’s what they are there for!
