    Rev. Charles C. Adams for the first time gave his Sunday sermon in a hoodie.

    The presiding pastor at Hartford Memorial Baptist Church in Detroit approached the pulpit with a can of iced tea and package of Skittles in hand all in honor of an unarmed Florida teen that was fatally gunned down last month by a neighborhood watch captain.

    The 10,000-member church on James Couzens near West Seven Mile is one of many organizations standing up nationwide to express outrage in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

    “We have a slogan: We are Trayvon Martin,” Adams, dressed in a green Wayne State University hoodie, told The Detroit News between one of two sermons Sunday on the issue. “Injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere.”
